Gerald A. Swaye, Q.C., C.S.

Called to the Ontario Bar in 1964 Gerry started his own firm in 1982. He was certified as a Specialist in Civil Litigation by the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1988. His practice has focused primarily on bodily injury and insurance.

Gerry has served the law community as a Bencher of The Law Society of Upper Canada since 1995. Gerry has been very involved with his community, having been a Board Member and past Director of a number of organizations, including the SPCA, Beth Jacob Synagogue, Hamilton Jewish Foundation and the YMCA.

Gerry was voted by his peers for the 2011 Edition of The Best Lawyers in Canada in Insurance Law, Personal Injury Litigation and Product Liability Law.

Gerry has been married to his wife for 40 years and has four grown children and two grandchildren.
